This is our from stock, lined sack coat it is made from a medium weight blue wool serge with a grey or tan coloured wool flannel lining, it is of a three piece body construction, it has a narrower taper to the facing stitching at front of jacket. Lining is three-quarter length, sleeve lining in calico (called muslin in the USA). Buttons are standard medium sized eagle. This Sack Coat is based on the most common surviving Schuykill Arsenal Jackets, for further detailed photographs see the pictures above. Usually available from stock but we can run out in the peak season
