The three different loop sizes were incorporated depending on which type of belt they were to be fitted to, please state which belt you will be using when prompted.. These were the first holsters truly designed to fit the 7,1/2″ barrelled Colt .45 Army Pistol .45 Smith and Wesson (Schofield). This was the most common holster of the Indian War era, it features the double hole half flap and is stamped Rock Island Arsenal on the flap with A.R.Smith sub inspector on the rear. .Belt types, for: issue belt leather and canvas loop Prairie Belt or Anson Mills belt.
